What We Do

We give help and
hope to our neighbors in need.

Restoration Life Center is a local non profit ministry where the homeless and hurting from our community can experience God's love and acceptance while being encouraged to make wise choices that will lead to a fulfilling and productive life.
Our goal is to serve each neighbor in need to help overcome life's challenges and teach them how God can heal their hurts and transform their lives.

Serving the needs
of this community since 1988.

The Jeffers Ford Motor Co. building at 201 W. Spring St., pictured here in 1948, was the original distribution center of Neosho Crosslines. Today the building houses the Neosho Newton County Library.
Restoration Life Center began as Neosho Crosslines Ministries when the Ministerial Alliance, a board of concerned pastors, recognized that Neosho needed a central resource as a way to assist the many needy people in our community. The local churches were overwhelmed with requests for food, clothing and shelter. In the early spring of 1988, Sister Diane Langford along with other caring individuals, spearheaded Neosho Crosslines Ministries to fulfill this calling in our area.

The Neosho Crosslines Distribution Center's first space of operation was the northeast corner of the old Ford building on Spring Street. The rent was paid for by area churches, and the community readily collected and donated food and clothing for the needy. Crosslines provided a two week supply of food and any clothing needed to each family who asked for assistance.

In 2000, government regulations forced Crosslines to give up the distribution of food, but the ministry was still able to focus on meeting other essential needs of people, such as clothing, hygiene products and household goods. The Distribution Center eventually moved to its current location and provides a central hub for the community to drop off their donations.

Once again, concerned citizens and local pastors saw the growing number of homeless neighbors in our community and approached Neosho Crosslines about addressing this need. In 2001, an additional facility was acquired by the ministry at 415 N. High Street to be used as a homeless shelter.

Today, our new name is Restoration Life Center. But our purpose is still the same. We continue to reach out with the love of Jesus Christ to neighbors who are homeless, hurting and struggling, to meet their physical and spiritual needs. Serving others, serving Jesus.
